Enrollment application packets are being accepted now! (All kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2018. Transitional Kindergarten students must turn 5 between Sept. 2 and Dec. 2) A free State Pre-School program is also available. You may pick up an enrollment application packet between 8:30am and 2:00pm or download the enrollment packet below.
You must have all the required documents when you turn in your enrollment packet. No incomplete packets will be accepted.

Toluca Lake's Gifted Program on the Rise
Congratulations to our many students in the GATE program. 11.4% of our Toluca Lake Elementary students are identified gifted!!! (The district's goal is 6%.) This percentage includes all students from
pre-kindergarten [age 4] through fifth grade, however, students aren't typically assessed until
6 years 9 months old or older.)
Great job Toluca Lake teachers for advancing our students to new heights!

Letter from Principal 4/27/17
Toluca Lake Elementary earned this award for it's outstanding Achievement in English, Math, and Science.
Toluca Lake scored in the top 6.6% of all LAUSD schools - out performing many Charter and Magnet schools throughout the district.
We are 1 of 86 LAUSD schools (out of 1302 schools) to receive this award for high academic performance.

The Toluca Lake LSLC (Local School Leadership Council) voted on August 23, 2016 to uphold the LAUSD Wellness Policy. What this means is that birthdays and other celebrations with cupcakes and other types of food are not permitted. Possible alternatives include: donating a book to the class in the child's name or giving a pencil to each child in the room. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school or principal. Additionally, students should not bring soda, candy, chips, or sweets in their daily lunch.
