The Toluca Lake LSLC (Local School Leadership Council) voted on August 23, 2016 to uphold the LAUSD Wellness Policy. What this means is that birthdays and other celebrations with cupcakes and other types of food are not permitted. Possible alternatives include: donating a book to the class in the child's name or giving a pencil to each child in the room. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school or principal. Additionally, students should not bring soda, candy, chips, or sweets in their daily lunch.
